Well as we said, many of the landlords we target have properties that are run down, former student houses or properties which had been used for single lets. As such they all require refurbishment and to be fully furnished to get them to the standard which is required by the agency who let them from us.

These are fully enforceable legal contracts so if housing associations want out then they must pay the remainder of the rent. That said, with the endemic shortage of property in the UK, these agencies will always have a need to house their clients until the government start a significant house building projectwhich will not come into effect for a number of years.

As every property investor knows, you can’t buy them all. Put simply we buy as many as we can but can’t afford to keep doing it.
